Cheryl Walker is the Mayor of El Centro and has served on the City Council for 12 years. She was born in Seattle and is a graduate of the University of Washington. Cheryl is a Senior Vice President and Director of Vendor Management for Rabobank.

Cheryl is also President of the El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) Board of Trustees and a board member of the Workforce Development Board, which serves as an advisory board to the Board of Supervisors on issues of workforce development, training and performance outcomes. Cheryl is a member of the Imperial Valley Breakfast Rotary Club, serving as President in 2009-- 2010.
